Meet Mushroom Garden: A White Peach Oolong Candle for Storybook Mornings

Mushroom Garden candle in a cream stoneware mushroom pot surrounded by ferns in golden morning light

In short

A storybook mushroom garden that smells like white peach steeped in warm oolong tea. Mushroom Garden is the fourth candle in our first collection — a cream stoneware pot you'll keep long after the last burn, in a scent you won't find on typical US shelves.

The Story Behind Mushroom Garden: A Tiny Garden on Your Shelf

Some candles you light. This one you wander into.

Mushroom Garden started with a simple idea: what if a candle could feel like stumbling on a tiny garden after morning rain? The pot is the whole story — textured cream stoneware, wider than it is tall, with a big red mushroom and its smaller neighbors climbing the sides, tiny blue flowers tucked between them. Inside, the garden keeps growing: a tall green cactus, smaller cacti, two red-capped mushroom toppers, and a golden succulent rosette in the center.

It's the cutest one of the nine — and the one most likely to stay on your shelf long after the wax is gone.

Meet Mushroom Garden: The Candle Up Close

Look closely and you'll see the whole garden in miniature: the tall ribbed cactus on the left, the two red-capped mushrooms with their white spots, the golden succulent rosette, and one clean white cotton wick in the center. Every topper is placed by hand, and the pot itself is the keepsake — no two fire exactly alike, but every one of them is a tiny world.

And in your hands, it's smaller than you'd think — a little garden you can cup in both palms, lit and glowing by the window.

The White Peach Oolong Scent, in Three Notes: White Peach, Oolong Tea & Honey

White peaches, oolong tea leaves, and a glass of amber oolong tea on cream linen

The scent, in three notes:

  • Ripe white peach — soft, juicy, and just sweet enough
  • Warm oolong tea — toasty, rounded, quietly grounding
  • A whisper of honey — the finish that makes it feel like golden hour

On the first light, the peach comes forward — fresh and delicate, like biting into a white peach on a summer morning. Then the oolong settles in, warm and a little toasty, the way a good cup of tea steadies an afternoon. The honey never shouts; it just lingers, softening the edges until the whole room feels like late light through a window.

Give It a Second Life: From Candle to Planter

Mushroom Garden pot repurposed as a tiny succulent planter on a windowsill

When the last of the wax is gone, the garden stays. A quick freeze-and-wash, and the mushroom pot is ready for its second chapter: a tiny planter. A small succulent fits it perfectly, and the mushroom relief looks right at home on a windowsill.

Never use it for food or drink — wax residue isn't food-safe. But as a planter, this is a gift that keeps giving: the candle ends, the garden doesn't.

Light It and Settle In

This is where Mushroom Garden earns its keep: lit beside your book and your tea, on a slow morning when there's nowhere else to be.

Frequently Asked Questions About the Mushroom Garden Candle

What does the Mushroom Garden candle smell like?

Like white peach steeped in warm oolong tea, with a whisper of honey. The peach is soft and juicy up front, the oolong brings a warm, toasty calm, and the honey rounds it all off like golden hour.

Is the Mushroom Garden candle really shaped like a mushroom garden?

Yes — the candle comes in a textured cream stoneware pot decorated with red mushrooms and tiny blue flowers, and the wax top is a miniature garden: a tall green cactus, smaller cacti, two red-capped mushroom toppers, and a golden succulent rosette.

What happens to the pot after the candle burns down?

It becomes a planter. Freeze the remaining wax, wash it out, and the pot works beautifully as a tiny planter for a small succulent.
